BBC Worldwide's sales and profits were increasing in the 1990's and the early 2000's. Because of the review in 2004, their profits had decreased by a huge amount. Although after that specific year, the sales and profits kept rising with only a few downfalls. The decision of the production division was made in 2006.
Publications
-BBC Focus magazine
-BBC GoodFood magazine
This music magazine is another one of BBC's productions.
It includes information about the writer "George Grove", classical music and a very old play called "Peer Gynt".
Seeing as the magazine involves such things that young people may not be interested in, the target audience is more likely to be adults or older people.
The magazine cover is also quite dull but has a big picture of Riccardo Chailly who is a famous Italian music conductor. This may intrigue older readers of Music magazine.
BBC Worldwide also has the magazine BBC Wildlife as one of their other productions.
This magazine is filled with lots of interesting information and facts about things such as British bird populations, UK winter wildlife experiences, why koalas are in crisis, about wolfs and much more.
The target audience for this magazine is for those who are interested in animals and "wildlife", it does not have a specific gender or age.

Universal Studios
This company is huge as it is served worldwide.
History
Universal
Studios was first founded on April 12th 1912 in New York by Carl Laemmle. He
started off buying a couple of the first nickelodeon's by giving up his own
goods.Universal Studios soon had movie production, distribution and exhibition
venues which means that it became a virtual integration company.
Later
in 1926, Universal Studios decided to open a production unit in Germany which
is also where Carl Laemmle himself was from. Soon after they migrated to
Hungary and Austria.
After
making his son Carl, Jr the head of Universal Studies, Leammle noticed big
changes being made. Most of these changes, such as the showing of horror movies
and converting the studio to sound production worked but some such as turning
Universal forays into high quality production turned into a disaster as it was
quite risky.
In
1945 J.Arthur Rank, who was a British entrepreneur, took a lot of interest in
Universal studios. He decided to get Universal Studios, International Studios
and Kenneth young to make United World pictures. This was not very successful
so soon after they made Universal-International and as William Goetz was a
founder of international, he was made head of production at
Universal-International Pictures inc. He stopped low-budgeted movies and
serials. Even though Universal was improving, there were many movies that go
negative feedback from the box office and once Goetz left Universal just went
back to making low-budget movies, they focused on Arabian nights, monster, and
science fiction films.
The
Music Cooperation of America (MCA) had taken over in the late 1950's. Universal
sold their studio which was 360-acres to MCA and renamed Universal to Universal
Pictures and with MCA in charge, Universal became an A film movie studio with
directors and leading actors which were all under contract.
Universal
Studio is the only Studio that have released three billion dollar films in one
year such as Furious 7, Minions and Jurassic World.-BMP

Billboard is a big music magazine company which is originally from New York and is said to be one of the oldest trade magazines in the world as it was first published on November 1st 1894.
This music magazine is one of Universals publication that they manage. The target audience for this specific magazine would be teenage girls but in general, magazines would have teenagers as their target audience.
The fact that the cover is not too colorful or loaded with information shows that it is not aimed at young kids or adults. The magazine has quite a large picture of the singer Lord which shows that most teens would be interested in the magazine.
Another publication that Universal manages is "Ben and Jerry's Homemade Holdings". Ben and Jerry's is a very popular company and managing the company makes both Universal and Ben and Jerry's more known. One of the benefits is that the target audience is not specific (having babies as an exception) and both are worldwide companies.
Universal Studio also has its own Ben and Jerry's shop opened which brings in more customers.
Although Ben and Jerry's is very expensive people still want to buy it as it is one of the best known companions for its ice creams, frozen yogurt and sorbets.
